In July 2026 the Arab Civic Council convenes its first assembly. It is the first live step of SDC's 2026–2029 strategy, From Resilience to Transformation.
The Council is the spine of the model: a community-rooted body that turns residents' priorities into coordinated civic action and sustained influence on the institutions that shape daily life in Haifa. SDC's role is to enable. The community organizes and decides.
This first assembly brings residents together to begin the work the Council is built for: reading the reality through people, mapping the issues across neighborhoods, and turning shared priorities into time-bound cases with disciplined follow-up.
